| Experience: | I tutored several college Latin students as an undergraduate major as well as tutoring several classmates in academic writing. As a graduate student I have learned effective strategies and techniques that promote learning and understanding which I am excited to apply to my tutoring. I have also taught several English and Latin classes in the public school setting, several of the English (grammar) lessons translating directly to SAT/ACT Verbal preparation. | Hobbies: | I am an avid reader and wish I had more time to read for enjoyment. I also enjoy painting and writing, poetry and fiction. I have recently begun to run again, preparing for one of the Warrior Dash 5ks in 2012! However, if I had unlimited resources and time I would spend it travelling the world meeting and learning about people, cultures, and countries first hand. |
