I have tutored UAB student athletes in general chemistry, and I have taught the birmingham community First Aid/CPR/AED through the American Red Cross. I can tutor in biology and chemistry as well as ACT and SAT prep, as I have earned a 5/5 on the Advanced Placement Biology Exam, 34/36 on the ACT, and 2240/2400 on the SAT. In college, I have taken the basic science classes as well as advanced biology classes such as Cell Biology, Microbiology, Cellular Physiology, Genetics, and Molecular Genetics. I want to tutor because I am in the process of applying to medical school, and I want to really sharpen my teaching skills because I believe to be an effective physician, one must be able to communicate effectively with their patient and guide them in leading a healthier life.
