Education
I have a BS degree in Neurobiology and Physiology from the University of Maryland (2013). I am currently a fourth year student at the UAB School of Optometry, where I have remained on the dean's list with high honors each semester.
Experience
I have taken many biology and chemistry courses throughout my time at the University of Maryland and UAB School of Optometry. In addition to doing well in these courses, I have also done well on my entrance exam into graduate school and my national board exams. I have years of TA and tutor experience and have helped many people excel in their science courses. I have also spent my summers in college working in a cancer research lab at Emory University, where I have applied the biology and chemistry learned in my classes. I am currently the president of my school's student optometric association and have always been passionate about student leadership as well as my academics.
