I graduated from the University of Alabama in May 2017 with a B.A. in English and minor in Spanish, ending at 3.9 GPA. I also graduated with Honors.
Experience
I tutored ESL students at Matthews Elementary in Northport, Alabama. I have also done significant volunteer mentoring with high schoolers and college-aged students all while in college. I want to be a tutor because I love helping people understand and succeed in their coursework, and I understand that people learn in different ways and not just the ways their teachers or professors teach them! I have taken classes in AP Psychology, AP World History, AP Statistics, and AP English, and have completed a B.A. degree in English and a minor in Spanish. I received a 1250/1800 on my SAT and a 32 on my ACT. I currently nanny for a family in Birmingham and am very trustworthy. I took college courses in English language, literature, linguistics, poetry, and writing; Spanish language, literature, and linguistics; philosophy, Russian, and political science.
